Two (2) Spa HEATER PVC Tailpieces 3.07" Threads for 2" pvc pipe size & Gaskets. 3.07 inch, not 2.4 inch.
PAIR of spa heater tailpieces with gaskets, exactly as shown and described. Outside diameter of the threads is 3.072-3.074" (major thread diameter). The female slip socket is pvc material, glues to your 2" schedule 40 fittings or piping,
female socket size is an industry standard 2-3/8" inside diameter
, same as 2" pipe is, use these to do any installation of a flo-thru spa heater, new construction, repair your spa, etc. This female socket is per ASTM Schedule 40 specs and is a tapered socket 2.391-2.371" inside diameter.
The o-ring groove can use a ridged molded gasket as shown, flat on one side with a raised rib on the other side. Or it can use a 229 O-Ring. This groove measures 2.62 outer diameter, and 2.354 inner diameter, and depth is about 0.100"
Includes 2 rubber gaskets, flat on one side with a raised rib on the other side. Flat side goes against the stainless steel flange of your flow through heater, and the ridged side fits into the groove on the white pvc fitting. MADE IN THE U.S.A.
Fits normal spa flo-thru heaters that have typical 3" inside diameter split nuts on the heater.
This special spa industry buttress thread has 8 threads per inch, and is NOT commonly used on pool products, but on hot tub heaters only. The inside diameter of the female threads is about 2.982-3.005" typically.
